Job Description
E&I Plant technicians are hired at basic level as members of a work team. E&I technician work teams are responsible for keeping production flowing, continuously update and train to increase their skills to meet our ever-changing production needs, meeting performance standards goals and maintaining the high level of quality in everything thing they do.
Responsibilities
E&I technicians do various @types of work, including but not limited to the following:
Make electrical repairs to run high-speed equipment.
Execution of planned maintenance tasks.
Perform preventive/predictive maintenance on equipment.
Get involved, take charge of situations, and confront business-related problems.
Display electrical skills in manufacturing processes, including operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting automated equipment.
Maintain accurate records and data.
In order to perform the work described above in our manufacturing atmosphere, E&I plant technicians:
Use basic hand and power tools.
Lift 50 pounds by bending and stooping; climb, stand, and move around on stairs, ladders, and platforms.
Twist, turn and bend; and stand on concrete floors for an extended period of time.
Qualifications
All applicants must:
Be 18 years of age or older.
Have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
Must have Electrical Technical School / Military equivalent or 2+ years Industrial.
Electrical experience.
Must be Low Voltage qualified or have the ability to do so within first month of
onboarding.
Need to have exposure to automated controls systems in a high-speed
application.
Strong technical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills; and knowledge of PLC
controls and computers.
