JOB REQUIREMENTS: Beloit Public Library seeks to hire a detail-oriented
Administrative Assistant for part-time employment to provide a wide
range of secretarial and administrative duties in a flexible, fast-paced
environment in coordination with the Library Director, Business Manager,
and other library advocates. An employee in this position will be
responsible for: Providing general secretarial support with
correspondence, reports, surveys, studies, and presentations. Filing
documents including personnel records and library financial records.
Processing payroll, invoices, purchase orders, requisitions, and claims.
Maintaining the library meeting room calendar, including scheduling
events for library programs and community groups. This is a part-time
position of 20 hours per week, with assigned hours of 8:30 a.m.-12:30
p.m., Monday through Friday. Beloit Public Library is an Equal

of three years of experience in an office setting is required. 2. Two
years of business courses is preferred. 3. Ability to effectively
present information both orally and in writing. 4. Good office skills
with a general knowledge of current office-related equipment. 5.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. 6. Equivalent combinations of
