- Long-term contract up to 1 year with extension opportunities.
- Previous experience as a Traveler and previous IHS experience is a plus
- 40 hours per week. 8 hour shifts
- Flexible shifts require evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts

Job Duties
- Independently perform routine and complex radiographic exams, including fluoroscopy and special procedures (e.g., IVP, barium swallow, cystograms, gallbladder studies).
- Accurately position and transfer patients, explain procedures, and select appropriate technical factors (MA, KVP, MAS).
- Operate and maintain radiographic equipment, troubleshoot basic malfunctions, and monitor equipment performance.
- Develop x-ray films using automatic processors; mix and replenish film processing chemicals.
- Practice and enforce radiation safety measures, including shielding and use of radiation monitoring badges.
- Maintain up-to-date exposure technique charts and ensure all procedures comply with established protocols and safety standards.
- Assist radiologists during procedures involving contrast media and special positioning.
- Perform CPR and first aid in emergency situations within the department.
- Follow sterile technique to prevent cross-contamination during procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records, radiographic logs, quality assurance documents, and supply inventories.
- Instruct and assist ancillary personnel at field clinics and provide basic troubleshooting and technical support.
- Participate in on-call rotations, weekends, holidays, and emergency callback services as scheduled.
- Support administrative requirements including onboarding, credentialing, computer-based trainings, and security protocols.

Requirements
Must be registered or registry-eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Must possess a current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
- Must have current BLS, ACLS
- Certification of Education - copy of diploma or transcripts
- Must be a US Citizen living primarily in the United States
Technical Knowledge:
In-depth understanding of radiation protection standards and safe operating procedures.
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to perform and evaluate diagnostic imaging.
Familiarity with x-ray physics, including circuitry, exposure techniques, and imaging accessories (e.g., grids, filters, collimators).
Clinical Skills:
Ability to position patients with care and precision, even in emergency or trauma situations.
Basic nursing skills, including vital sign monitoring, CPR, and familiarity with emergency protocols.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift and position patients, carry equipment and supplies, and work long hours, including rotating shifts.
Work Environment:
Must follow strict radiation safety protocols and work effectively in a clinical, fast-paced, and occasionally high-stress environment.
