Job Description
The Electrical Technician performs electrical installations on all company products. This role involves troubleshooting, servicing, diagnosing failures, and making necessary repairs on company products.
Responsibilities
Perform electrical installations on all company products.
Troubleshoot, service, diagnose failures, and make repairs on company products.
Use test equipment to solve problems in various systems on the units.
Read and understand electrical schematics.
Possess an advanced understanding of electrical voltage reading AC/DC, focusing on low and medium AC voltages.
Prepare documentation, administer physical inspection, and complete sign-off books with QC coordination.
Conduct final system checks.
Adapt to new situations and/or systems on the production line.
Effectively test, troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical systems, products, assemblies, and/or components.
Demonstrate effective soldering skills.
Assist lower-level technicians with on-the-job training.
Mentor and act as a role model for co-workers while working alongside them on the production floor.
Provide feedback on areas needing improvement or correction to the team.
Ensure lower-level technicians understand processes and can perform tasks properly.
Assist with process improvements and work instructions.
Give clear and concise instructions.
Improve products and make associated recommendations.
Inspect, identify, make repairs, and replace parts as required using advanced product knowledge.
Test equipment and perform regular maintenance checks on electronics.
Essential Skills
5+ years of electrical experience
Ability to troubleshoot, service, diagnose failures, and make repairs
Proficiency in reading and understanding electrical schematics
Advanced understanding of electrical voltage reading AC/DC
Effective soldering skills
Ability to use test equipment to solve problems
Experience with final system checks and documentation
Leadership and mentoring skills
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in electrical assembly, termination testing, and control panel installation
Knowledge of hydraulics and electrical wiring
Proficiency in conduit bending and using hand tools
Ability to work with blueprints and field service installations
Experience with process improvements and providing feedback

Work in a non-climate controlled shop environment with good air circulation from fans. The role involves working inside and outside of trucks to complete builds.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $44.00/hr.
