Principal Engineer - eVinci Layout/Hazards

This role is an onsite role, located at 51 Bridge Street, Etna PA.
No sponsorship or relocation offered.
Your Day-to-Day:
Lead nuclear plant site and building layout, equipment, piping & HVAC layout, seismic interaction assessments, internal/external missile assessments, flooding evaluations and other hazard protection evaluations.Facilitate decision-making to accelerate technical progress across the reactor design and analysis groups.
Identify and define technical issues, risks and challenges, direct efforts to successful resolution.
Lead key technical teams, providing oversight while delegating work and mentoring team members.
Provide leadership and coordination during preparation of proposals (work scope definition, coordination of technical descriptions, resource estimates).
Interface with stakeholders on design progress, technical issues, cost and schedule.
Lead the performance ofphysical arrangement assessments of structures, equipment, piping, commodities, and supports using multi-dimensional (3D) design software.
Technical coordination between numerous functional disciplines, customers, and vendors to ensure overall plant design meets design parameters, requirements, and support the design, fabrication, construction, and maintenance of large-scale nuclear projects.
Adaptable and flexible to changes in strategy, market, and design.
Work highly independently - not only mentor engineers but also effectively lead a team of engineers in the execution of complex tasks.
Who You Are:
As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:
BS in Engineering required, MS in Engineering is preferred
Professional Engineer (PE) licensure preferred
Experience with advanced nuclear plant designs including interfaces with systems, equipment, structures, and physical plant arrangement preferred
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Strong teamwork skills
Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects and tasks
Minimum of 8 years of experience required
This position is based in the Pittsburgh area
