Location: Indiana - This is a hybrid position with travel.
Salary Range: $114,000 to $160,000
Final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, education and experience. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. THE ENERGY TEAM
Our Energy Group at CEI builds projects from the field to the grid. Whether it's a solar, battery storage, substation, EV charging, microgrid or converter station project, our skilled project managers, engineers and field employees deliver when it matters most. We work with customers on programs of all sizes-those spanning several smaller sites or spanning several thousand acres. ABOUT THE ROLE
Directs, guides, and coaches mechanical foremen and craft to ensure activities on site are understood and following established processes through quality checks.
Ability to follow processes for systems and communication lines on site and ensure implementation is consistent.
Schedules and ensures appropriate staffing for daily mechanical construction activities with employees.
Ensures that project is utilizing Safety Management Systems, Quality Managements Systems, and technical procedures.
Provides regular and direct feedback on performance and goal progress.
Coordinates and supervises all mechanical construction activities.
Directs all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications.
Promotes job site safety, encourages safe work practices and rectifies job site hazards immediately.
Scope: Establishes operational objectives and work plans and delegates assignments to subordinates. Senior management reviews objectives to determine success of operation. Involved in developing, modifying and executing company policies that affect immediate operations and may also have company-wide effect.
Complexity: Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives. Implements strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Establishes and assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements.
Discretion: Erroneous decisions will result in critical delay(s) in schedules and/or unit operations and may jeopardize overall business activities.
Interaction: Regularly interacts with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers. Requires the ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance from, others in sensitive situations, without damage to the relationship.
Supervision: Manages activities of two or more sections or departments. Exercises supervision in terms of costs, methods, and staffing. In some instances this manager may have subordinate supervisors.

Utilizes strong organizational skills.
Displays strong written and oral communication and problem solving skills
Ability to work in extreme environments (example: hot sun, cold)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
Licensure/Certifications: OSHA 30 required.
Experience: At least 2-5 years' experience working in a Utility-scale Solar Mechanical construction environment
