Position Summary:
Provides front desk coverage to greet individuals and public, answer phone, document crisis call and refer to crisis team as needed. Responsible for performing clerical and administrative duties, in a fast-paced setting, to ensure the efficient operation of the department in accordance with the philosophy, goals and objective of Texoma Community Center. Provided clerical support and assistance to clinicians to assure accurate documentation. Scan and Enter health information into electronic health records system. Cross-trained to float to other service locations as needed. Operates under trauma-informed and recover-oreinted models of care which align with CCBHC
Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma required
College course work in Business Practice preferred
Two (2) years' experience in an office setting doing a variety of clerical functions required
Experience working with individuals with mental illness and/ or addiction issues desirable
Certificates, Licensure, Registrations:
Current driver's license
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to speak a second language relevant to population served preferred
Must be self-motivated, organized and detail oriented
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Consistently practices Trauma-informed Model of Care, understands and considers the pervasive nature of trauma.
The knowledge of cultural differences and ability to work with individuals from different cultural backgrounds.
