How do you excel in this position
Stark Tech is hiring an Integration Specialist for Protective Systems with experience in Access Control, CCTV, or Fire Alarm systems. If you have a strong background in integrating low-voltage building sub-systems using industry protocols like RS-485, RTSP, and Wiegand, we want to hear from you! In this role, you will configure, test, and commission complex building control systems while developing and testing software for system operations. You'll validate system functionality, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with project teams to create as-built drawings and software. Additionally, you'll provide site-specific training to ensure smooth operation for system operators.
What are we looking for
Three (3) years' experience in the Access Control, CCTV or Fire Alarm industry.
Basic networking and IT knowledge.
Demonstrated knowledge of control theory, building automation systems and other building systems.
Demonstrated experience in the integration of low voltage building sub-systems using various industry protocols (i.e RS-485, RTSP, Wiegand etc.).
Operating knowledge of Microsoft office software and working proficiency with handheld devices, such as Smartphones, iPads, etc.
Ability to communicate with customers and coworkers regarding inspection and service findings.
Additional skills preferred but not required
NICCET II Preferred.
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent.
Strong networking background.
