Summary:
Support the Human Resources Department by handling a range of
administrative and clerical tasks such as employee onboarding,
record-keeping, payroll assistance, and recruiting. Ensure compliance
with company policies and labor laws while communicating between Human
Resources and employees. Prepare reports, correspondence, spreadsheets,
and other communications utilizing a broad range of computer
applications.
Essential Functions:
Assist with the recruitment process for the credit union. Post job
openings, review resumes, schedule interviews, process background
checks, and attend job fairs. Conduct initial candidate screenings
and backup AVP Human Resources in conducting full interviews.
Provide support for employee payroll processing. Assist with
entering payroll data and employee changes in the HRIS. Support
managers with employee timesheets and back up payroll duties and
processing. Respond to employee questions regarding payroll and
resolve payroll-related inquiries.
Assist with all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including hiring,
onboarding, and offboarding, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
Complete new hire documents such as I-9s and W-2 review. Maintain
and update employee records, complete assigned audits, ensuring
accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal
requirements.
Help administer employee benefits programs and respond to employee
questions regarding benefits.
Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and company
events.
Perform general administrative duties such as filing, data entry,
and handling correspondence.
Respond to employee inquiries and provide basic guidance on HR
policies and procedures. Ensure up to date HR communication is
available to employees through systems such as our HRIS and company
intranet.
Must maintain predictable and reliable attendance.

Qualifications:
Education:
Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required\
Associate Degree required. Bachelors degree in human resources or
related field preferred.
Experience:
1 year of administrative or HR experience required.
Skills:
Excellent organizational, communication and business writing skills to
exhibit professionalism and deal effectively with internal and external
contacts.\
Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.\
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and
prioritize tasks effectively.
Physical Requirements:
Perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and
occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs.
Work Environment:
Professional banking environment.
Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in a
climate-controlled shared work area.
BSA/Risk:Employees will ensure adherence to BSA (Bank Secrecy Act)
and risk compliance standards in all job responsibilities, maintaining
the organization\'s regulatory integrity and mitigating potential risks.
