JOB REQUIREMENTS: University of Wisconsin-Platteville is seeking a Chief
Facilities Officer. The Chief Facilities Officer is responsible for
providing leadership, planning and direction for long range campus
capital planning and the administrative operations of the facilities
management department to advance institutional projects and objectives.
The Chief Facilities Officer works closely with internal stakeholders
from all areas of campus as well as external partners to bring
consistency, vision, and accountability to campus capital projects,
maintenance and improvement plans, assuring that they are completed on
time and on budget. The individual works with the Vice Chancellor of
Finance and Administration to oversee facilities-related compliance
within the institution in support of addressing enterprise-wide
priorities and solving complex problems while ensuring alignment with
institutional goals. The Chief Facilities Officer oversees the following
areas: construction, renovation, security, custodial, grounds,
recycling, repairs, maintenance, and utility services, to ensure they
meet the needs of the university and its employees. The Chief Facilities
Officer is a paid leave and benefit eligible position, with salary

strategies for creating custodial and maintenance standards, schedules,
and labor requirements for routine and emergency repairs, housekeeping,
preventative maintenance programs, grounds work, warehouse functions,
renovations, and capital improvement projects Determine and direct
standards for routine and preventative work orders, warehouse/purchasing
tracking, building and grounds projects, and use of automated
