Description
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrical Superintendent to oversee and manage the electrical installation and maintenance of industrial facilities. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in electrical systems, machinery, and equipment in an industrial setting.
Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in industrial facilities
Schedule and supervise a team of electricians and electrical contractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
Develop and implement electrical safety protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in a timely and efficient manner
Coordinate with other departments and contractors to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with other mechanical and structural components
Monitor and track project progress and identify potential areas for improvement or cost savings
Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members and ensure they are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties safely and effectively
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial electrical work, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work efficiently under pressure
Valid electrical contractor's license and certification in industrial electrical systems

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $48.00/hr.
