Job Title: Apprentice Electrician
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated apprentice to assist with the build-out of new construction at the NDSU Campus. This position offers a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in commercial and industrial electrical work, including automation wiring.
Responsibilities
Assist journeyman electricians with various tasks
Run conduit and pull wire
Frame walls and participate in small office build-outs
Perform general labor tasks as needed
Install and hang electrical fixtures
Troubleshoot electrical issues
Conduct circuit analysis and ensure compliance with electrical codes
Essential Skills
Experience with electrical wiring and circuit analysis
Knowledge of electrical codes
Ability to install wiring and troubleshoot electrical issues
Construction and carpentry skills
Capability to pull wire and hang fixtures
Proficiency in soldering and working with conduit
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Possession of hand tools
Valid Apprentice License (consideration for general laborer if proven reliable)
Ability to remain on feet throughout the workday

Work Environment
Hours are from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Thursday, with overtime available on Fridays. This role involves being on your feet throughout the day, working in a collaborative and active construction setting.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
