As an Aviation Maintenance Technician at our Jacksonville facility, you'll be at the forefront of providing critical maintenance and repair services for military aircraft, directly impacting warfighter readiness.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Aircraft Electrical Systems Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance, defect rectification, modifications, and functional tests on avionics and electrical systems.
Proficiency with Electrical Systems: Execute tasks such as reading wire schematics, performing continuity checks, AC/DC power checks, and ensuring proper wire installation according to applicable drawings.
Specialized Installations: Install fiber optics, coaxial cables, and shielded twisted pair splicing while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Collaborative Teamwork: Work with experienced leads and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure quality and regulatory compliance. Report any discrepancies or issues to leadership.
Safety First: Follow strict safety protocols, wear required protective equipment, and contribute to a safe working environment.
Continuous Improvement: Strive for efficiency, first-time quality, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
Required Qualifications:
Experience: 6+ years of aircraft mechanic experience (commercial, defense, or relevant trade apprenticeship).
Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
Certifications: Must be able to obtain Fall Protection Certification and comply with OSHA regulations.
Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
FAA Certification: Airframe and/or Power Plant certification preferred.
Additional Knowledge: Familiarity with general aircraft maintenance and industry safety processes (FOD control, tool control, health & safety regulations).

Pay Details: $30.51 to $35.97 per hour
