Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative to join our growing sales team. This role focuses on outbound prospecting, cold calling, and lead qualification to set high-quality appointments for our Territory Managers. If you are a driven, goal-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced B2B sales environment, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct outbound calls and emails to potential clients, introducing Flex Storage’s solutions and value proposition.
- Qualify leads by understanding their needs, budget, and timeline.
- Schedule appointments for Territory Managers with key decision-makers.
- Maintain and update CRM records with accurate lead and contact information.
- Follow up on marketing-generated leads and nurture relationships through persistent and professional communication.
- Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly activity and performance targets.
- Collaborate with the sales team to improve lead-generation strategies and messaging.
- Understand and support the execution of outbound sales strategies to enhance customer relationships and drive business growth.
- Continuously gain knowledge in customer use cases and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (preferred).
- 1-3 years of experience in outbound sales, business development, or telemarketing (B2B experience preferred).
- Strong communication and persuasion skills with a confident phone presence.
- Ability to handle objections and maintain a positive, persistent approach.
- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot) and lead-tracking tools.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Team-oriented mindset with a proactive and positive attitude.
What we offer:
- $24 - $34 / hour base salary, depending on experience + performance-based monthly bonus
- Position is 100% Remote - HQ Office is located in Aventura, FL
