Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to the Pastor and Treasurer
Maintain strict confidentiality and foster positive relationships within the church
Manage communications: Answer phones, emails, and coordinate mailings
Maintain records: Organize files, track member information, and oversee contributions
Prepare materials: Assemble weekly bulletins, newsletters, and reports
Support financial tasks: Record offerings, distribute giving statements, and assist with budget tracking
Office management: Order supplies, oversee office expenses, and maintain church calendars
Technology & Website: Manage basic updates for the church website and digital content
Collaborate with Play & Learn daycare staff: Occasionally interact with daycare personnel within the church facility, ensuring professional and courteous communication
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
1+ years of administrative experience (church setting preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, and internet navigation
Ability to maintain the church website (or willingness to learn)
Strong communication and organizational skills
Bookkeeping skills and an accounting background required
Experience with Church Windows software is a plus
