Our client is seeking an HR Administrative Assistant to join their team. As an HR Administrative Assistant, you will be part of the HR department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a knack for customer service, which will align successfully with the organization.
Job Title: HR Administrative Assistant
Location: Canaan, CT
Pay Range: $21 - $24 per hour
Shift: 8 hours M- F
Primarily 1st shift, but must have flexibility to support night shift from time to time.
What's the Job?
Oversee payroll processing for the site and ensure accurate time entries for all associates.
Serve as the primary contact for both external and internal customers, addressing inquiries appropriately.
Conduct regular meetings with Administrative Assistants to discuss payroll issues and ensure consistency.
Assist in the preparation of special reports and projects as required.
Support New Hire Orientation training and manage attendance programs.
What's Needed?
High School Diploma or GED.
One year of administrative support experience required.
Prior experience in payroll and timekeeping is essential.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of leaders throughout the organization.
