Job Details:
Pay is \$16.65 per hour.**
Schedule is generally 8 AM to 5 PM and may vary per Department.
Duties may vary per departmental supervisor. Must be willing to work
overtime and weekends.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor
while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies
and procedures.
These positions could work in any department of the processing facility.
Some positions require the ability to push, pull, carry, or lift 50+
pounds. Jobs are fast paced and require repetitive motion. Must be able
to work in damp cold or damp hot environments, use of hands and arms
above shoulder level and be able to stand 8 to 10 hours a day. Must be
able to climb up and down stairs to get to and from the work areas. Must
wear PPE, ear protection (plugs or muffs), hair net and beard guard.
MUST PERFORM OTHER DUTIES AS TASKED BY ADMINISTRATION.
The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the
physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable
accommodation.
Must be able to work under minimum supervision.
Must be able to work in wet & cold conditions.
Must keep work area clean.
Must be able to use a knife/scissors.
Must be able to maintain line speed.
Must be able to do minimal stopping and bending.
