More than 650 students are enrolled in our CSWE-accredited BASW and MSW programs, and PhD program.
The Kinship Care Resource Center (KCRC) is one of several community programs in the School of Social Work at Michigan State University. The KCRC serves kinship care families across the state by providing information, referrals, and support for kinship caregivers and the children they are raising. The Data Coordinator will support implementing the evaluation plan for studying the efficacy and outcomes of planned interventions for kinship caregivers. The coordinator will be responsible for survey administration, data management, and analysis, as well as supporting CRM administration activities. Additionally, the coordinator will ensure data integrity and security, support tracking research participation incentives, and generate reports for program leadership.
The primary functions of this role include:
Administer, track, and monitor surveys for consenting participants at four time points, ensuring data collection aligns with project timelines.
Clean, manage, and analyze both administrative and evaluation data to generate insights for program improvements.
Analyze and report trends in administrative data and create regular written reports and data visualizations to inform program leadership and stakeholders.
Implement quality control processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security.
Assist in the management of the program CRM (Salesforce) and collaborate with internal MSU teams on troubleshooting, system improvements, and data integration.
Provide technical assistance and training to staff on survey tools, data collection methods, and CRM usage.
Work closely with the evaluation team to ensure data collection and analysis meet project objectives, adapting methods as necessary.
Regularly communicate data insights and evaluation updates to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring non-technical audiences understand key findings.
Assist in preparing reports for grant compliance, ensuring timely and accurate submission of data to meet funding requirements.
Adhere to IRB processes and protocols, ensuring ethical standards in data collection and research involving human subjects.
Support tracking and dissemination of research participation incentives
Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Degree
Masters -Social Work, Public health, Data Science, Business, Health or Science Informatics/Analytics or related field
Minimum Requirements
Master's Degree in Social Work, Public Health, Data Science, Business, Health or Science Informatics/Analytics, or related field with a minimum of one year of experience in social services, healthcare or academic research or program evaluation.
Proficiency in statistical analysis, data analysis, and survey software (e.
