Job Description:
Boscar Electric is looking for a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Shop Manager. This is a hands-on role that offers both part-time and full-time opportunities with potential for long-term growth and development. As a Shop Manager, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that ensure the smooth operation of our shop, including building and vehicle maintenance, inventory management, lawn care, and material handling.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:
Building Maintenance: Keep the shop and surrounding areas in excellent condition, performing light repairs, cleaning, and other necessary tasks.
Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee maintenance for our fleet of vans and bucket trucks, including washing, cleaning, and ensuring vehicles are in working order.
Lawn Care: Manage and maintain the lawn during the spring and summer months, using the best available tools.
Material Handling:
Unload trucks and ensure proper storage of materials in the warehouse.
Pick materials for job sites, understanding the specifications and needs for each project.
Occasionally make deliveries to job sites when necessary.
Forklift Operation: Operate forklifts to store and move materials (forklift experience preferred, but training will be provided).
General Duties: Assist with other tasks as needed to support daily operations. Training will be provided for additional responsibilities.

Requirements:
Preferred: Clean Drivers License (DL).
Mechanical Aptitude: Ideal candidates should have a basic understanding of mechanics or a willingness to learn.

Education: High School diploma or GED.
