Contract Duration: 2+ Months
Pay Rate: $22 - $27 per hour
Shifts Available:
- Day Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
- Evening Shift: Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality patient care in a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will assist patients with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and support the nursing staff in ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and respiration.
- Support nurses and medical staff with patient care tasks and procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients.
- Assist with mobility, positioning, and transfers using proper techniques.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient information.
- Adhere to healthcare policies, safety regulations, and infection control procedures.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid CNA certification (New York State).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA.
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients safely.
- Compassionate, patient-focused, and detail-oriented.
