Job Overview

As a Bookkeeping Assistant, you will support the accounting team by maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with reconciliations. Your role involves handling invoices, expense tracking, and ensuring compliance with financial policies.

Duties & Responsibilities

Record and maintain financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
Assist in accounts payable and receivable processing.
Reconcile bank statements and financial records to ensure accuracy.
Prepare and issue invoices, receipts, and financial reports.
Monitor expenses and budget adherence.
Maintain organized financial records and ensure proper documentation.
Assist with payroll processing and tax filings as needed.
Work with accountants to prepare reports for audits and tax filings.
Handle data entry and bookkeeping software updates.
Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.

Experience & Qualifications

Bachelors Degree is required.
Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance is a plus.
Proficiency in bookkeeping software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
Strong numerical, organizational, and analytical skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
Ability to handle confidential financial information.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management tools.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour
