Role: Senior Accountant

Position Summary:
· The Senior Accountant will oversee key financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and insights to drive informed business decisions. Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
· Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
· Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support strategic decision-making.
· Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
· Monitor inventory and cost of goods sold (COGS), ensuring accurate reporting.
· Support the Accounting Manager and collaborate with the accounting team to optimize financial systems and workflows.
· Perform weekly payroll processing and prepare weekly payroll journal entries.
· Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations, including preparing and filing required reports.
· Provide accurate and timely financial data to support store operations and inform operational adjustments.
· Deliver ad-hoc financial analysis and information to the senior management team, including the CFO and COO.
Partner with external auditors and tax professionals during audits and reviews.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).
· 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in hospitality, or a similar industry.
· Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
· Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
· Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
· Proven ability to work effectively in a small, collaborative team setting.
· Willingness to adapt and grow with a dynamic, scaling organization.
· Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or Korean is welcomed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
