Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Dispatcher in the logistics industry, based in LIVERPOOL, New York. Your role will involve managing a high volume of calls and communicating effectively with drivers and warehouses.
Responsibilities:
Manage communication with up to 20 drivers, both in person and over the phone
Ensure effective coordination of drivers' schedules
Handle data entry tasks related to route information
Communicate effectively with other warehouses and drop-off locations
Resolve issues drivers may encounter on their routes
Process and maintain accurate records of customer credit applications
Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary
Provide excellent customer service and administrative assistance when needed Requirements - Proficiency in dispatching tasks, demonstrating a solid understanding of coordinating and managing transportation routes
Strong customer service skills, capable of resolving customer complaints and queries professionally and effectively
Experience in administrative assistance, capable of managing paperwork and supporting daily office operations
Proficient in computer data entry, ensuring the accurate and timely input of critical information
Expertise in coordinating schedules, capable of managing and adjusting transportation schedules as needed
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, facilitating clear and concise information exchange with drivers, customers, and team members. TalentMatch®
