What’s the role:
We are currently seeking a motivated Senior Accountant to join our company. The ideal candidate should be able to facilitate various activities, like tax returns, general ledger, bank reconciliation, and financial report, and to keep information and finance-related business reports confident. He or she should be detail-oriented and support other departments and any stakeholders in the financial area. This position will work under the Accountant Lead to produce various reports and recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
What you bring to the table:
- Files federal, state and local tax documents by preparing sales tax returns, payroll tax returns and other tax related tasks
- Comply with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions
- Assist with federal, state tax audits
- Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheets; profit and loss statements, and other reports
- Provide financial information to management by analyzing accounting data, preparing reports
- Document financial transactions by entering account information.
- Reconcile the company's bank statements and general ledgers
- Support month-end and year-end close process
- Perform assigned duties as needed
Who will be the best fit:
- BA/BS degree in Accounting, or equivalent field is required
- 5+ year of proven experience as Accountant or similar role
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin is required
- Experience with tax returns, reconciliations and auditing
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience with creating financial statement and facilitate bank reconciliation
- Experience with accounting software and data entry

**We are currently work hybrid with about 2-3 days/week in the office.
