Established Social Services Organization has an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned Vice President of Finance. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Accounting, Budget, Purchasing, and Payroll departments and for assuring adherence to the policies and procedures of the Financial Services Department. You will play a key role in executing financial strategy. Some duties include:

Managing organizational budget, cash flow, and financial reporting while optimizing financial stability.
Overseeing corporate audits and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders including funding agencies and banks.
Developing financial policies, procedures, and controls while scaling operations for growth.
Presenting quarterly financial reports to board and audit committees.
Participating in executive strategic planning and providing financial guidance to leadership.
Supervising and developing fiscal staff.
Supporting the Executive and Management team with financial and operational guidance and recommendations for improvement.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field (MBA/CPA preferred)
10+ years of financial leadership experience in the government-funded nonprofit sector
Knowledge of NYC affordable housing programs and contracts
Proven track record in team leadership and development
Excellence in communicating complex financial concepts
Strong technical proficiency in accounting, billing, and MS Office systems
Demonstrated judgment and diplomatic communication skills

Salary: $200,000-$225,000/yr.
