Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to temporarily support our client in the construction industry while an employee is on leave for at least four weeks. The successful candidate will bring excellent organizational skills, a proactive attitude, and a customer-focused mindset to help ensure smooth daily operations during the leave period.
Key Responsibilities:
Answering Phone Calls: Serve as the first point of contact for incoming calls, directing inquiries to the appropriate team member and providing general information as needed.
Greeting Visitors: Welcome guests promptly and appropriately, ensuring a positive visitor experience.
Data Entry: Accurately input and maintain business-critical information in spreadsheets, databases, or other systems as directed.
Administrative Tasks: Handle general office responsibilities, including filing, managing correspondence, scheduling appointments, and maintaining office supplies.
Document Management: Organize, update, and store company records to ensure easy retrieval.
Requirements
Previous experience as an administrative assistant or similar role is highly preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong proficiency in data entry and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Familiarity with the construction industry is a plus but not required.
