Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage our financial records and ensure the accuracy of our accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both corporate and public accounting, with expertise in general ledger reconciliation and double-entry bookkeeping. This role requires proficiency in accounting software and a thorough understanding of debits and credits, accounts payable, and technical accounting principles.

Duties

Maintain accurate financial records through general ledger accounting and reconciliation.
Perform double-entry bookkeeping to ensure all financial transactions are recorded correctly.
Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely payments to vendors and accurate record-keeping.
Prepare and analyze financial reports, providing insights into the company's financial status.
Collaborate with external auditors during audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
Utilize accounting software to streamline processes and maintain organized financial data.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts based on historical data and current trends.
Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.

Qualifications

Proven experience in full charge bookkeeping or similar role within corporate or public accounting environments.
Strong knowledge of general ledger reconciliation, debits, credits, and technical accounting principles.
Proficiency in accounting software; familiarity with popular platforms is preferred.
Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to prepare comprehensive financial reports that are clear and informative.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and external stakeholders.
Must be proficient in Quick Books
