JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Assisting with the opening and closing of the concession area daily.

Following food handling guidelines, serving food, cleaning machines

and counter tops and other areas that require attention.

Assisting with stocking, inventory, maintaining an organized and

clean concession area.

Notifying the Shift Leader when supplies are low and need to be

reordered.

Maintaining positive communication with all members, guests, and

YMCA employees.

Attending staff meetings.

Supporting Strong Community Campaign efforts.

Other duties as assigned.

EFFECT ON END RESULT: Ensure efficient service and a positive member experience by working as part of a well-managed concessions team.

Job Requirements:

Commitment to the YMCA mission, vision and values

Must attend New Employee Orientation within 30 days of hire

Must obtain Food Handlers Card in accordance with Conditions of

Employment

Understand and abide-by all policies and procedures as set forth by

the association

Work a schedule that reflects the needs of the branch; including

evenings and weekends

Summary\ Under the direction of the Program Director, the Concessions Staff member be responsible for assisting in all areas, as directed by the Concession Shift Leader, such as using a cash register, serving customers food, keeping areas clean and orderly, following food handlers guidelines, assisting with inventory and stocking.
