Dashan is a fast-growing restaurant management company. Our company is seeking an experienced and highly capable Accountant to work closely with our executive staff to create and implement accounting policies and procedures. The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for processing all accounting functions for the organization and will assist in the examination of account balances, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.

What you will do:

Manage accounting operations, including payroll data, invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition.

Coordinate and direct the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts and report variances.

Research the technical accounting issues of compliance.

Ensure quality control of financial transactions and financial reporting.

Assist in developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

Assisting staff accountants in various tasks to fulfill clients’ requests within deadlines.

Accounting for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions

Maintaining and updating fixed asset schedules

Assure timely completion and communication of project status internally/externally.

Perform other related duties as required.

What you need to bring:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or higher

Strong interpersonal and oral/written/presentation communication skills are required.

Minimum of 3+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a public accounting environment, which includes data processing and organizing information in a paperless work environment.

Experience using at least one of the following: QuickBooks, SAGE50, SAGE100 Navision (Microsoft Dynamics), ProAlpha, Datev, SAP

Proven expertise in MS Excel and MS Outlook with a working knowledge of MS Word, and Adobe software applications

Ability to prioritize and multi-task – strong time management skills and ability to manage priorities effectively.

Accounting experience in foodservice, retail industry required or foodservice operations experience a plus.

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
